Had some free time today, so I did a couple of digital painting studies. These were painted completely from scratch in Photoshop, but I used some of my travel photos for reference. The first one is loosely based on Shuri Castle in Okinawa, the seconds on the Mekong River in Vietnam, and the third is a landscape with some castle ruins. Each painting was done in approximately 2 hours.
I'm thinking about taking one to a photo-real level. Let me know which one!
